CHARLES MATHIAS CARORI
He is a seven (7) year old boy born in Nyingwa village, Kibungo ward, Morogoro Rural District.
The second child in a family of six children, Father and Mother and other siblings on both sides. Charles' parents are farmers, which is also why even at Charles' age he has been helping with small agricultural activities such as weeding crops.
After his birth, no one knew that he would be a unique child in the family since there is no history of his kind in the family and both clans because he was a person born with a talent of his kind.
Charles, in his uniqueness, never studied even one grade, knows the large calculations of tens, hundreds and thousands without being taught by anyone while being very confident.
Perhaps his parents thought this was normal until a brilliant primary school teacher was amazed by his talent as soon as Charles was enrolled in the school at just one week old, calculating tens, hundreds and thousands, while his peers his age could not do so even by the criteria that they were studying because they had not yet reached the level of being taught those calculations.
The teacher took the responsibility of recording Charles while calculating and asking him various mathematical questions using a smartphone and shared it on social media before Clouds FM journalist Asia Matona came across the video and took the responsibility of coming to the village for a special interview with the child.
Perhaps God intended for Charles to be known through that path, and the doors of his academic success opened immediately after the chairman of the Fountain Gate Foundation came across the video and was impressed by the child's talent.
Days passed and the Morogoro Regional Education Officer through the Regional Commissioner's office announced the intention to sponsor the child's studies by announcing the criteria and conditions for obtaining the opportunity to sponsor the child's education and eventually the Chairman of the Foundation of Fountain Gate Foundation through the schools of Fountain Gate Academy Tanzania won the competition by meeting 9 out of 11 criteria set.
Charles Mathias Carori was fortunate enough to convince the Director of Fountain Gate Academy Tanzania and the Chairman of the Fountain Gate Foundation Japhet Makau to cross mountains and valleys and even ride a bodaboda, something the director had never done for more than twenty-five years of his life but for CHARLES he did it. Eventually, Charles joined Fountain Dodoma Pre and Primary School in Dodoma to begin the journey of his dream of education and eventually becoming a teacher.
Before joining Fountain Dodoma Pre and Primary School, Charles was able to read and write, except for the ability to count, which surprised many because he had never been taught anywhere, Also he didn't have the ability to speak English as it was the language of learning due to the school's curriculum, but now Charles speaks and understands the language well and even speaks Swahili fluently unlike before.
Early in 2023 on January 4 at 9 am, Charles Mathias Mbeni was hit by the bad news of the death of his biological father Mathias Mbena. The Lord has given and the Lord has taken.
