FRIENDS OF FOUNTAIN GATE FOUNDATION
Fountain Gate Foundation (FGF) is a non-governmental organisation based in Dodoma, Tanzania, that supports children and youth living in vulnerable, less-privileged, and underprivileged circumstances. Over the years, many people who believe in this work parents, students, professionals, organisations, and well-wishers have asked how they can be part of it. Friends of Fountain Gate Foundation is our answer: a community of supporters who stand together to support and amplify the work of the Foundation.
WHAT IS FRIENDS OF FOUNTAIN GATE FOUNDATION?
Friends of Fountain Gate Foundation is a community of individuals, professionals,
organisations, and well-wishers who voluntarily support, promote, and take part in
FGF's work. It is not a job, and it is not a donation drive; it is a way for anyone who
cares about vulnerable children and youth to belong to something bigger and to
help it grow.
WHO CAN BE A FRIEND?
Anyone who believes in our mission and wants to contribute can join us: individuals,
parents, alumni, students, professionals, organisations, and well-wishers. What you
need is not money or a special qualification, but a heart for volunteering, a desire to
make a difference, and a willingness to take part in community action.
WHAT DO FRIENDS DO?
Once registered, Friends take part in six main areas of activity:
Participating in Foundation activities and events.
Volunteering and providing support where it is needed.
Promoting Foundation activities within their own circles and communities.
Mobilising new friends and supporters to join the movement.
Connecting the Foundation with partners and opportunities.
Identifying communities in need that FGF can reach.
WHAT DO FRIENDS RECEIVE?
Every registered Friend receives an official Friends of Fountain Gate Foundation
identity card, recognising them as a formal part of this network a badge of
belonging to a community that is genuinely changing lives in Dodoma.
WHY THIS MATTERS
No single organisation can reach every child or every family that needs help on its
own. Friends of Fountain Gate Foundation exists to widen the circle of people
actively invested in that mission — so that more hands, more voices, and more
networks are working together toward the same goal: a conducive environment
where children and youth get proper education, better health, and a genuine
chance at a better future.
