CHRISROPHER ELIAS MASAKA

A 15-year-old with a leg disability who dreamed of becoming a pilot, born in 2008 on December 13 in Mtitaa village, Bahi district, Dodoma region, who likes to read various books.
Christopher Elias Masaka was diagnosed with a disability in 2000 after his legs were amputated due to the effects he suffered immediately after undergoing circumcision. Doctors at Benjamini Mkapa Hospital advised the child to have his legs amputated after determining that he would never be able to walk again due to the severe damage to those limbs.
Christopher's parents seemed to be desperate due to their inability to afford the medical expenses of their son and sad when they thought about the best and most appropriate way to care for him once he lost both of his limbs.
While in the hospital, Christopher was hopelessly out of luck and his parents were lost in thought. Mr Antony Mvunde, then Deputy Minister, Prime Minister's Office, Labor, Employment and Youth, was in the hospital when he came across the child's challenges immediately after his parents explained to him. He took on the responsibility of helping the child and promised to continue his education so that his dream could come true.
Mr Antony Mavunde secured artificial legs for the child immediately after the surgery was completed.
It should be noted that Christopher contracted the unknown disease that led to his disability while he was in the second grade at Mtita Primary School in Bahi District, so immediately after receiving treatment and artificial legs, Mr Mavunde took on another responsibility of finding a school for him that would continue his education and fulfil his dreams. SO HE BROUGHT HIM TO THE FOUNTAIN PRIMARY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL IN DODOMA.
After arriving at the school and being received by the school principal along with the director of the Fountain Gate Academy Tanzania, The director took on the responsibility of serving the child's physical, educational and spiritual needs through the Fountain Gate Foundation, an institution that helps groups of children in need, where he also had to repeat a grade to build his abilities on a par with his peers.
Christopher agreed to the challenge and set a goal to do well in class to the point of making progress from grade to grade where in the fourth-grade result of 2021 Christopher got an A grade in every subject while holding first place in the examination for both academic sessions of 2022.
Currently, Christopher is in the sixth grade and the race to chase his dreams is gaining momentum by ensuring that he is in the top three in every subject.
