HARITH KAYAYA MONELO

He was born on December 2, 2005, and raised at the AL-MADINA orphanage in Tandale, Mtogole, Dar es Salaam.
Harith is a strong, organized, humble, and thirsty young man who is unafraid to become the president's bodyguard.
Currently, Harith is among 35 children sponsored by the Fountain Gate Foundation for various physical, health and spiritual services and is studying in Form Three at Fountain Gate Secondary School Dodoma located in Mlimwa C behind the Prime Minister's residence.
Harith's journey to reach today was not easy due to the history of his birth, join me to celebrate the achievements of this unique young man with a talent for painting.

And this is his journey.
Age, date of birth and years are the result of people he met while he was rescued by a police officer who took the child to the social welfare office to see how the child would receive physical, health and spiritual care.

The child was brought to the social welfare office, the social welfare estimated his age based on his appearance and height at that time because he was unable to speak and was an age of three years and made an estimate of three years.
The social welfare held discussions and agreed to take him to the Al-Madina childcare centre where immediately after arriving at the centre, the boy was given his father's name and surname by one of the caregivers at the centre known as YAHAYA MONELO. The child was named Harith Yahaya Monelo with the date of birth estimated to be 2/12/2005.
You will be surprised that the child was named Harith Yahaya Monelo but is currently identified as Harith Kayaya Monelo, let me tell you what happened.
Immediately after joining the centre on January 19, 2010, while he was conscious and looked like a child who had been struck by a phobia, the caregivers of the centre had the additional task of ensuring that the child returned to his normal state, where one of the things they were doing was playing with him and talking to him regularly so that he would become a happy child like most children. After a short time, Harith started talking while recognizing things in a completely different way, for example, he called ugali , "soap" while eating the food was different because he was eating the insides of a half-peeled orange.
When Harith was able to speak, he was asked by various visitors what his name was. He introduced himself as Harith Kayaya Monelo. This is due to the way children pronounce things when they are learning to speak, but more so due to the habit of the people at the centre calling his brother Yahaya, the guardian of something, who was given the role of father to child Harith. They call him by that name, ending with the word ka, without ending with the other brother, and it sounds like kayahaya. Now, because harith was on a journey of forming words, he believed that the brother was part of the name of his foster father and decided to call him kayaya due to his inability to pronounce the word yahaya correctly, especially the word HA. Various writers and visitors reported him as Harith Kayaya Monelo, and even after he joined the school, the name remained that way.
Harith Kayaya joined his primary school in the first month of 2013 as a result of the Fountain Gate Academy schools' culture of visiting centres for children in need where they visited the AL-Madina centre and dreamed of a scholarship opportunity for a talented child. The centre director recommended Harith because he had a talent for drawing at that time at the age of 8 and that's when he joined Fountain Gate Tabata Sigara school in Dar Es Salaam starting in the first grade, the middle class.
His educational journey was amazing and inspiring due to his good ability to understand things quickly and do better in class day by day and class by class immediately after reaching the seventh grade in 2020 he passed with A grades in all subjects and joined Fountain Gate Secondary School in Dodoma in early 2021.
In 2022, Harith, as a second grader, achieved a first-class achievement of 11 marks and was among the students competing for the top 5 places in the class.
Harith is currently inform three with a thirst and passion to fulfill his dream of becoming a presidential bodyguard and is studying science while having a great talent for drawing.
